About the Presenter
Many viewers will know David as the in-house Grandmaster at the Norway studio of the Champions Chess Tour. A prodigious talent, he holds the record for being the youngest Briton to ever achieve the title of Grandmaster, earned at the age of 16. He is a 3-time British champion and one of a select group of British players to have achieved a rating above 2700 Elo. David is known for his universal playing style and is comfortable across a range of positions.
David’s personal achievements have included:
