Judit Polgar is a Hungarian chess grandmaster and also the strongest female chess player of all time.
She achieved the title of Grandmaster at the age of 15 years and 4 months, at the time the youngest GM ever, breaking the record previously established by former World Champion Bobby Fischer.
She was the youngest ever player to join the top 100 players rating list, ranking No. 55 in the January 1989 rating list, at the age of 12.
She is the first woman, and so far the only one who has reached the 2700 Elo, being her peak rating of 2735 and peak world ranking of No. 8, both achieved in 2005.
She was the #1 rated woman in the world from January 1989 to March 2015, when she was overtaken by Hou Yifan; she was the No. 1 again in the August 2015 women’s rating list, in her last appearance in the FIDE World Rankings.
Lawrence Trent (born 28 April 1986) is an English International Chess Master, trainer and commentator. He has represented England in numerous international youth championships (including a 7th place in the U18 WCh in 2003).
IM Trent has also demonstrated his ability as a commentator for major FIDE tournaments, and he has also host-commentated for independent super-tournaments, including the London Chess Classic.
Bryan Smith is an American Grandmaster and chess coach. GM Smith has won many international tournaments including Limpedea Cup (Romania), Citta di Erba (Italy), Easter International (Serbia), Philadelphia International, National Chess Congress, US Masters, etc.
Grandmaster Bryan Smith grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Some of his accomplishments include first place in the 2008 National Chess Congress, 2009 National Chess Congress, 2010 Philadelphia International, and 2011 Limpedea Cup.
Damian Lemos is a grandmaster from Argentina with a peak rating of 2559 Elo. In his lessons, Damian works closely with students to first identify the flaws and weaknesses in their games so that they can be properly evaluated and corrected.
By developing specifically-tailored training regimens for every one of his students, Grandmaster Lemos is able to achieve results that other chess coaches dream of.
GM Marian Petrov is an accomplished professional chess coach, theorist, and Bulgarian champion for 2002 and 2017, as well as winner of many open tournaments around the world.
Also a FIDE trainer and coach of the team of Wales at the last Olympiad in Baku in 2016.
He graduated from the National Sports Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria with a Bachelor’s degree in Chess Pedagogy, a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare top-level chess trainers.
IM Mat Kolosowski is a multiple Polish youth championship-medallist. In 2010, he achieved 5th place in the European U-18 Championship.
During the course of his chess career, Mateusz has won many international tournaments. Apart from being a successful player, he is also a chess coach with experience working with students from more than 20 countries.

In this DVD Bryan explains the sacrifices with both the Scheveningen “small center” structure of pawns on d6 and e6 and as well as the Sicilian Dragon.
An exchange sacrifice occurs when one player gives up a rook for a minor piece. It is often used to destroy the enemy pawn structure. In the Sicilian Defense, it is used where Black a knight on c3 with a rook to establish a minor piece on a strong square.
