SuperGM Chess Revelations INC Product Image

Most GMs dumb it down.

Or tell people what they expect to hear.

Or they know what’s going on but can’t put it into words.

And so the secrets of grandmaster chess stay secret.

Arkadij Naiditsch is changing that.

Get ready to pour fuel on the fire that is your passion for chess!

iChess favorite Arkadij Naiditsch has just completed his extraordinary new Intuition Navigates Chaos course, SuperGM Chess Revelations.

Thought Process & Calculation – GM Damian Lemos

Chess players have a reputation for being intelligent, calculating, strategists who see deeper into situations than most do.

And that’s generally accurate.

We visualize possibilities, take multiple factors into account, and work backwards to make the best decision in the moment.

But, of course, there are levels to this.

Lemos Turbo

In this course, we cover some powerful techniques for accurate calculation and evaluation… but you will get the biggest benefit from learning how to bring all your skills together, spot the critical moment, and take your opportunities.

You may be able to work out exercises with a satisfactory score, but when no hints are given – and it’s just you and the position – where do you start?

Prophylaxis = Control – GM Fabien Libiszewski

Few things delight the soul more than seeing your biggest rival blunder against you.

So why not make it happen more often?

It doesn’t even have to be a blunder – watching their growing frustration as you force them to play weak move after weak move is even more satisfying!

GM Fabien (“Libi”) Libiszewski’s 3-hour course shows you how to take away all your opponent’s good options… forcing them to dance to your tune.

Prophylaxis Control Libiszewski Product Image

The late, great Mark Dvoretsky insisted that prophylaxis – the art of preventing your enemy’s plans – was the true sign of a player’s strength.

In just over 3 hours, Fabien has packed in all the information you need to become ruthless at preventing your opponents’ plans.

Forcing Moves Force Wins – IM Kostya Kavutskiy

Tactics training is just that – training.

Finding the risky winning sacrifice in a high-stakes game – and having the guts to play it – that’s what counts.

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

And whilst solving 1000s of random puzzles will definitely sharpen your skills… its main benefit is building up your pattern recognition.

Come up against one of the millions of positions you haven’t seen before, and things are trickier.

That’s when you need the tools IM Kavutskiy teaches in his incredible Forcing Moves Force Wins

Prophylaxis = Control – GM Aleksandr Lenderman

Infiltrate the enemy mind, steal their secrets… and make victory certain!

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles”

-Sun Tzu, The Art of War

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

Chess is a battle of ideas.

And no matter how good your position is, your opponent still has ideas of their own… otherwise they would resign.

How many thousands of points have been lost because players were blind to their opponent’s resources?

Don’t make the same mistake.

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

Former World Youth Champion and Team USA coach Alex Lenderman teaches you the art of prophylaxis in this outstanding 3-hour course.

Integrate Lenderman’s thought-process and you will eliminate blunders, eradicate your opponents’ counterplay, and execute your own plans flawlessly.

Take control of the game – and keep control until victory is assured.

Arkadij Naiditsch joins the ranks of Intuition Navigates Chaos coaches!

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

“Ultimately, what separates a winner from a loser at the grandmaster level is the willingness to do the unthinkable.”

– Garry Kasparov.

90% of chess players fall into the same trap.

Chess is such a deep and fascinating game, it’s easy to get swept up in it and forget the aim is to win.

Not in a game, obviously. You’re obsessed with winning then.

But in training. When you should be getting the skills that win games, are you focusing on:

  • Obscure tactics.
  • Cool opening variations that you’re never going to see on the board.
  • Going 20 moves deep into some bizarre line during analysis.

Grandmaster Arkadij Naiditsch (peak 2737 FIDE and 18th in the world) insists this is the biggest waste of time and talent in chess… and he’s done something about it.

In this 11-hour training, Naiditsch teaches the skills, practical decisions, and attitudes that tip the balance and bring home the bacon.

Arkadij picks you up and takes you on an 11-hour magical mystery tour through the mind and play of an elite chess winner.

By the time you’ve finished listening to his closing notes, you’re no longer the same player you were at the beginning of the journey.

You’ve been transformed with hardcore training on winning attacks, game-saving defense, clinical endgame conversion, and much more.

Intuition Navigates Chaos: Turbo – Fundamentals of Strategy with GM Georg Meier (3h)

Chess players are supposed to be master strategists… but too many players neglect the development of this skill.

Which makes no sense.

Strategy is the map that gets you to your goal, a strong plan that drives you to victory… it’s like swimming with the current instead of against it.

And if you consider yourself a tactical player, just remember Fischer’s observation that “tactics flow from a superior position”.

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleQuality coaching on the more refined strategic ideas is hard to find… enter top German GM Georg Meier who is decided to give you the benefit of his decades of analytic and practical experience.

GM Meier did great work in his first course for iChess – a brilliant 3-hour training on advanced strategy for our INC Turbo series.

If you study this course, you will be a better player. No doubt about it.

Intuition Navigates Chaos: Turbo – Sacrifices & Navigating Chaos with IM Alina Kashlinskaya (3 h)

“You must take your opponent into a deep, dark forest where 2+2=5 and the path leading out is only wide enough for one.”

– Mikhail Tal

When Mikhail Tal played, exceptions were seen everywhere in his games, Bishops, Knights, Rooks, and Queens were given up just to move the enemy king one tiny square.

Time stopped as confusion reigned… every move plunging his rivals deeper into that dark forest of despair.

And while they thrashed around, panicked and blinded, Tal was calm.

He was the darkness… he was the storm. What did he have to fear?

Being comfortable in chaos is a rare and invaluable ability. It’s also teachable.

Intuition Navigates Chaos: Turbo – Evaluation & Strategy with IM Robert Ris (3 h)

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

At the higher levels, games are won by the player who can identify the critical factor in a position and make proper use of it.

In this near 4-hour course, Dutch International Master Robert Ris teaches you that ability.

Chess is a complicated game – you don’t want it to be easy, you want to be good.
IM Ris shows you how to get to the absolute essence of the position, ignoring all the tempting but inferior plans that compete for your attention.

Once you know what to do, it’s a question of executing your plan. Of overcoming your opponents’ strongest resistance.

This course trains you to a high-level in skills like prophylaxis, dominating with the bishop-pair, and targeting weaknesses. All explained with IM Ris’ trademark clarity.

Study this material and master the advanced skills that will win you games for the rest of your playing days.

Converting Advantages in Chess – IM Kostya Kavutskiy (3 h)

“The hardest game to win is a won game.” – Emanuel Lasker, 2nd World Chess Champion.

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleYour position looks SO good. You love it.

Your pieces boldly take center stage, dominating the board while your opponent’s feeble peasants cower on the back rank…

…now all you’ve got to do is convert it.

But it’s not so easy.

Move by move your opponent pushes their pieces forward one square, defends, unravels their position…

…soon your beautiful advantage has gone.

You need a special set of skills to turn these edges into wins…

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle
IM Kostya Kavutskiy

…skills that American IM Kostya Kavutskiy teaches in his brilliant new INC Turbo course, The Squeeze.

Club Player’s Manifesto 2K – GM Damian Lemos (12 h)

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleAre you ready to finally smash that 2000 FIDE barrier?

After “how can I get better at chess”, the next most-heard question is “what do I have to do to hit 2000 FIDE?”

Only 5% of serious (rated) chess players ever reach the 2k level. It’s a major accomplishment, one that places you in the most-respected group of players.

Not everyone has the huge amount of spare time required to hit IM or GM-level, but GM Lemos firmly believes ANY reasonably smart, ambitious person can reach 2000 FIDE… with the right training.

The 12-hour Club Player’s Manifesto 2k is all about developing the skills and understanding needed to find strong moves in any position.

This is what the Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle has to offer:

Super GM Skill Set – GM Sam Shankland (15 h)

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle
Super GM Skill Set – GM Sam Shankland

2700 Club Member Sam Shankland is back! This course isn’t for the faint of heart – GM Shankland believes that active learning is the best way to learn, and the more work you put in, the more you’ll improve.

Sam’s premise is that while knowledge is important and useful, it’s your skills that decide how well you can play the game – a distinction missed by many players.

The Super GM Skill Set helps you develop your skills to an advanced level by testing your decision-making and evaluation ability as though you were playing against a top GM.

“I don’t believe in passive learning… if you pause your video and think about these positions, you’re definitely going to train your ability to make decisions.”

– GM Sam Shankland, The SuperGM Skill Set.

This course is all about improving your actual skill, making you a better player… instead of just being the same player with slightly more knowledge.

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

Accelerate your Chess (15 h)

The GingerGM is back!

Following on from his two hugely popular Master Methods, “GingerGM” Simon Williams has produced a 15-hour course designed to take you to the next level in your chess.

Simon has collected the games that led to breakthroughs in his own development, and takes you through each one in such a way that you make the discoveries for yourself – a far more powerful method of teaching/learning than simply giving you the answers.

Each lesson works on at least one of seven areas: Strategy, calculation, prophylaxis, forcing moves, navigating chaos, pattern recognition, and converting advantages – the key skills you need to succeed at the highest levels.

One of the major benefits of this course is that you’re studying games packed with instructive value – it’s a real goldmine of chess secrets. Every lesson brings with it an “aha!” moment… and saves you years of painful trial-and-error going through games that just aren’t that useful.

Presented with Simon’s trademark combination of humor and clear insight, this is the perfect way to accelerate your chess improvement.

INC Turbo – Evaluation & Strategy -GM Damian Lemos (4 h)

Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

Some months ago, GM Damian launched his Intuition Navigates Chaos course The Club Player’s Manifesto 2k, a chess strategy course designed to help you improve your strategic play.

It was also meant to elevate your chess understanding and thought processes to master level, covering everything from sacrifices and forcing moves to prophylaxis and pattern recognition.

Hopefully you’ve taken that course and are already reaping the benefits… now GM Lemos took things a step further with his new INC – Turbo series.

This is all about turbocharging your improvement with super-rich examples that will light up the shadowy areas of your chess understanding.

It’s high-level stuff but GM Lemos has broken it down so anyone who’s reasonably smart will get it… and we know you’re smart or you wouldn’t have read this far.

The first course goes deep on Evaluation and Strategy and it’s 4 hours long.

About the Authors:

Damian Lemos is a grandmaster from Argentina with a peak rating of 2559 Elo. In his lessons, Damian works closely with students to first identify the flaws and weaknesses in their games so that they can be properly evaluated and corrected. By developing specifically-tailored training regimens for every one of his students, Grandmaster Lemos is able to achieve results that other chess coaches dream of.

Sam Shankland is an American Chess Grandmaster and the 2018 US National Chess Champion. He is a mainstay of the US Olympic Team, a two-time Olympiad Gold Medallist (2014 and 2016), a former World U-18 co-champion (2008), Champion of the Strong Capablanca in Memoriam (2018), Continental Champion of the Americas (2018), and the winner of several international events. He is one of the strongest chess players in the world, having crossed the 2700-Elo barrier and having reached as high as #24 in the world.

GM Simon Williams (aka Ginger GM) is an English chess grandmaster, author, and commentator. He obtained Grandmaster the Grandmaster title 2008, by accomplishing the final norm at the Hastings International Chess Congress 2005/2006 and the 2500+ rating at Hastings 2007/2008. His highest rating so far is 2550, achieved in November 2009. In 2009, he organized the Big Slick International in Purley, London, which comprised an invitational GM tournament and FIDE Rated Open.

In 2005, he won the British Blitz Championship.

He was the joint winner with Gawain Jones of the London Chess Classic FIDE Rated Open in December 2010, with a rating performance of 2690.

IM Kostya Kavutskiy, as a coach, IM Kavutskiy works with his students to maximize their strengths, grow past their weaknesses, and determine a realistic training plan to reach their goals. I believe it’s a coach’s responsibility to target their training to each individual student. This means spending time on both calculation and strategy while also providing useful insight and knowledge on the positions they play. If you sign up for lessons with IM Kavutskiy, be ready to work hard!

Russian IM Alina Kashlinskaya (2494 FIDE, basically GM strength) is a former Russian Junior Champion and the 2019 European Women’s Champion, Olympiad silver medallist, she has also won silver and bronze medals at World Youth Chess Championship and has been the World University Chess Championship runner up!

And chess is in the family. Alina is married to Super GM Radosław Wojtaszek (peak 2750) – Anand’s second in 5 of his World Championship matches.

So very few chess coaches have a resume like this, we feel lucky to have Alina as part of our team!

Georg Meier is a German chess grandmaster. He has been a competitor of several tournaments, like the 2009 World Cup, in December of that same year, Meier tied for 1st-4th places with Julio Granda, Viktor Láznička, and Kiril Georgiev in the 19th Magistral Pamplona Tournament. In 2014, he shared second place with Peter Leko in the Dortmund Sparkassen Chess Meeting, won by Fabiano Caruana. Meier won the main Grandmaster tournament at the 2017 Maccabiah Games in Jerusalem, ahead of Ukrainian Grandmaster Alexander Moiseenko.

Naiditsch won the Grandmaster Group B of the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2013 in Wijk aan Zee on tiebreak over Richárd Rapport after both finished on 9/13. This victory qualified him for the Tata Steel Group A of 2014 (later renamed ‘Tata Steel Masters’). In August 2014 he won with the black pieces against World Champion Magnus Carlsen, playing first board for the German team in the 41st Chess Olympiad in Tromsø. The following month Naiditsch won the 2nd Grenke Chess Classic tournament in Baden-Baden. In December of the same year, he finished first in the 38th Zurich Christmas Open.

Naiditsch tied for first with Magnus Carlsen in the 3rd Grenke Chess Classic in February 2015, finishing second after a five-game blitz playoff, which ended with an armageddon game.

Aleksandr Lenderman is an American chess grandmaster, who was originally born in Leningrad.

He won the 2005 World Under-16 Championship in Belfort with a score of 9/10 (+8 −0 =2), becoming the first American to win a gold medal at the World Youth Chess Championship since Tal Shaked won the World Junior Championship in 1997.

Lenderman played for USA team in the 2015 World Team Chess Championship in Tsaghkadzor and scored 5/7, winning the gold medal on the second board.

How is this bundle going to help me?

With GM Lemos, you’ll analyze 50 of the most instructive games from grandmaster chess… each one teaching something new in 1 of 7 categories:

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleThought Process & Calculation

Thinking outside of the box: take a look at this position. White is loading up against e6 (and f7), ready to play f5 and Ne4-d6. What do you do? Play …Re8 and …Nf8 to protect e6? Seems sensible… what about playing …f6? Blunder? No – it leads to a crushing attack for Black!

  • Evaluation & Strategy
  • Forcing Moves

Making moves work. Forcing moves, the initiative, attacking play, sacrifices… we want to force issues, to take control… but know you can’t just play something aggressive and ‘hope’ it works. We examine WHY these moves work, using elite level examples.

If you’ve watched one of GM Shankland’s courses before, you know 15 hours of his lessons are equivalent to 25-30 hours of most other courses.

He packs his courses with quality content, focusing on the critical decisions and expecting you to pause the video for anywhere between 5 and 30 minutes to think about the position.

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleMaking the right decision. Even seemingly small decisions can have a big impact on your game. Take a look at this position. White has just captured a knight on f6 with his Bishop, giving Black three ways to recapture. Which would you choose?
  • Succeed at the higher levels in chess, if you want to succeed, you need to develop your skill set. Memorizing ideas is all well and good, but what really decides games is your ability. As former US Champion Sam Shankland points out, real games require many different skills – it’s not enough to rely on your calculation or positional understanding alone.
  • Develop your skills through training and feedback. You will have to pause the video at critical moments and treat the positions as you would if you were playing an important game. Then comes the feedback, a 2700-rated player pointing out why some ideas work and others don’t – and how you can discern between similar options in your games.

Regarding GM Simon Williams‘ course, it’s always a special occasion whenever the British grandmaster releases a new course… and this might just be his best yet.

The whole point of this series is to transfer the skills and knowledge of the masters to you – closing that gap without you having to spend 1000s of hours of painstaking trial-and-error to get there.

s part of our Intuition Navigates Chaos series, Accelerate Your Chess takes things a step further… focusing on teaching the skills and strategies you need to succeed at the highest levels.

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleBlindfold training. One of the best things you can do to improve your calculation and awareness of each piece’s power – see the board and pieces with eyes closed! Simon reveals his favorite technique for training this high-level skill.
  • Chaos theory. You will learn to love chaos… the murky waters where you swim and others drown. Simon teaches you the special way of thinking that helps you find spectacular winning moves in positions like this (diagram, White to play).
  • Pattern tracing. Whether it’s an attack formation or positional maneuver, you want to be absorbing as many beneficial patterns as you can. Section 5 sees Simon explains how to deconstruct winning ideas to make them easy to remember and use.
  • Continuous improvement. You’ve got a slightly better position but no weaknesses to attack… what do you do? GM Williams takes you through some classics to internalize the ‘3 Ps’ of prophylaxis, pressure, and patience.

Come and learn a bit of Kashlinskaya’s Chaos Control.

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleGame-Defining Decisions. When everything is on the line, sometimes you have to think outside of the box. IM Kashlinskaya gets you to consider moves that wouldn’t even occur to others. Would you find the best move for Black here? (Diagram. Hint: It’s a sacrifice!)
  • High-Stakes. Most players avoid risky situations… and pass up a ton of spectacular wins by doing so. Learn to love high-stakes, however, and you have a massive advantage over your terrified opponents. Alina makes you comfortable in chaos by showing you how to thrive in that zone.
  • Attack Execution. By analyzing these high-level positions with Alina, you will build up a powerful repertoire of tactical patterns AND master the art of attack execution for each one. That will make it easier for you to get the big decisions right. For instance in this diagram, has White got enough after 19.Bxd3 Nxd2 20.fxg6 fxg6 21.Bxg6?

Fundamentals of Strategy with GM Georg Meier

Get ready for some great lessons:

  • Targeting Weaknesses. A weakness is only a weakness if it can be exploited. Take this example (diagram). You have probably seen this early queen exchange many times. Can White exploit the doubled-pawns? GM Meier exposes some deep chess truths in this clash between two 2800 players.
  • Winning Level Positions. Carlsen is famous for it… the ability to extract win after win from seemingly equal positions. Some people this is a result of endurance or luck. GM Meier identifies the fine margins that make one side of the equal position easier to play than the other.
  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleWhen Champions Collide. In this game between Anand and Carlsen, White goes after the bishop pair with 9.g4 (diagram). This one move sets the strategic battle for the rest of the game. Georg Meier reveals the advanced secrets of this hugely instructive game.
  • Eliminating Counterplay. No matter how good your position is, strong players will constantly be looking for counterplay. You need to be at least 1 step ahead, combining pushing your plan forward with finding and eliminating your opponent’s counterplay. This course will help you find that balance.

Strategic shrewdness stays with you – unlike tactical sharpness – making this the best bang for your buck in terms of return on your training time.

With GM Arkadij Naiditsch, Master Knockout Skills Like These…

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleThe Million Dollar Mindset. Too many points are lost because players get anxious, feel stress, or get over-confident. Being calm and objective in ALL positions is going to get you the very best results. GM Naiditsch trains you to focus on playing the position instead of being controlled by your emotions.
  • Razor-Sharp Attacks. As you advance through the ranks you will face tough opponents… resilient fighters. This is a good thing. They force you to be better. You need to balance attack and defense, knowing every move is critical. Who is better here (diagram)? Is Rxh5 good for White? (This is much trickier than it looks!)
  • Endgame Execution. The Endgame: The training ground of champions. Tactics and strategy combine, demanding creativity, calculation, and total concentration. Arkadij explains how to evaluate, find hidden opportunities, and win even objectively level positions.

Forcing Moves Force Wins

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleCuring Tactical Blindness. IM Kavutskiy outlines the 3 reasons winning tactics get missed in competitive games… and teaches you the approaches that eliminate this Elo-dropping issue. Look where others don’t, ask for more, and find creative ways to make tactics work.
  • Reciprocal Thinking. So you tested a line and it didn’t work… you can use the reason it didn’t work to find a variation that does. Kostya shows you how to reverse-engineer tactics to find stunning moves like the one that wins this for Black (diagram).
  • Unstoppable Winning Machine. As you climb higher on the chess ladder, you’re going to face tough resistance… it’s your job to Hulk smash through it and find ways to make things work.
  • Farsight Visualization. You know the tactic is there… but you have to be sure you get it right. Thing is, you see 3 moves ahead then things get fuzzy. In chapter 5, Kostya teaches you a powerful technique for seeing clearly even 10 moves deep… use it in-game or during training to develop your visualization skills.

Prophylaxis = Control – GM Aleksandr Lenderman

  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega Bundle

The Perfect Play Paradox. Focusing on the moves that look good for you might lose you the game… finding your opponent’s best moves will lead you to victory. This position (diagram) looks so good for White… but nearly every move leads to a loss or a draw. Using Alex’s way of thinking, however, will help you find the bizarre winning move in no time!

  • Positional Domination. You see that great square for your opponent’s knight? What if you took it away? A piece without good squares to go to is worthless. GM Lenderman gives you high-level methods for denying ALL of your opponent’s pieces room to move.
  • Intuition Navigates Chaos Mega BundleIron Grip on the Opening. In many openings, it’s clear how your opponent wants to develop. It’s your job to make sure the moves they want to make are bad! GM Lenderman analyzes a Fischer masterclass to show you how to get an iron grip on the game early on.
  • Study-like Solutions. Take a look at this position (diagram, White to move). Could you draw as White? Could you find a win for Black? Applying Alex’s process will help you find ideas you’re currently missing.

Prophylaxis = Control – GM Fabien Libiszewski

  • INC LibiAnalysis of 3 brilliancies by World Champions, showing you how prophylaxis wins games at the highest level.
3 chapters on the process of prophylactic thinking, including specific advice for the opening and in attacking play.
Active training with challenging exercises taken from real games.
  • Beauty. If you don’t find White’s formation here beautiful…(Diagram) well, I don’t know what to tell you. Everything coordinated and controlled, pieces ready to spring into action in any number of ways… all while preventing Black from doing anything meaningful. Libi reveals how Karpov was able to achieve such positional domination over one of the best players in the world.
  • Maximum Power. Even when thinking strategically, calculation is required. Evaluation and considering your opponent’s resources will clue you into what you need to do, calculation will reveal the best way to do it. Fabien shows you how to combine the 2 modes of thinking so your rivals have no wriggle room.
  • Opening Control. Stop your opponent developing their pieces in the way they want to and their position will be a mess for a long time. Fabien explains how to make things difficult for your opponent from move 1.
