Some of the courses you’ll get:

Attacking with Alireza – IM Lawrence Trent

GM Alireza Firouzja is the man of the hour, having just defeated Magnus Carlsen in the Banter Blitz Cup Final. The 16-year old phenom excels at attacking chess and IM Lawrence Trent shows us how he does it!

alireza 2

Learn how to attack! If you feel that ain’t gonna happen, at least get a glimpse of what makes Alireza Firouzja such a special talent.

Lawrence gives a brief overview of why there is so much hype surrounding this young Iranian Grandmaster over the following games.

Alireza vs Nguyen

Caruana vs Firouzja

Duda vs Firouzja

Nakamura vs Firouzja

Firouzja vs Zarkovic

There is something very Fischeresque about how Alireza conducts the attack. Simply sit back and enjoy!

The Grunfeld according to Svidler – GM Peter Svidler

The Grunfeld defense has fast become one of Black’s most popular choices when playing for a win thanks to its sharp nature and rich possibilities.

Played everywhere from club level to the World Championship, it is one of the best chess openings for black and one that repays its devotees with many memorable victories at the board.

In this superb 12-hour course, GM Peter Svidler, one of the strongest players in the world with a peak rating of 2769 and a Grunfeld Defense expert, gives you a complete repertoire for this defense.

After listening to Peter’s clear explanations of every mainline, sideline, and anti-Grünfeld attempt, you will have a world-class understanding of the Grünfeld and a major advantage over your opponents.

Tricky Trompowsky – IM Lawrence Trent

trick trompowskyThe Tromposwky (1.d4 Nf6 2.Bg5) is enduringly popular at club and tournament level making knowledge of its subtleties a must.

IM Lawrence Trent presets a near 5-hour course giving you a complete Tromposky repertoire, regardless of Black’s approach.

Featuring analysis of full games as well as common tactics, long-term plans, and even endgames, Tricky Trompowsky will prepare you to a very high level, giving you the necessary knowledge to confidently overcome any opposition.

The Taimanov Sicilian – GM Robin van Kampen

robin van kampenThe Sicilian Defense is the most popular chess opening in existence so it’s no surprise that it’s also the most theoretical. With whole books written on each of the 6 main 6th move choices for White in the Najdorf, sometimes it can be difficult to keep up.

Enter the Taimanov Sicilian, characterized by the moves 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nc6 5.Nc3 Qc7. This opening has increased in popularity over the last couple of years but is still relatively fresh compared to other variations.

Dutch GM Robin van Kampen was persuaded to switch from the Najdorf to the Taimanov and is very happy with his decision, noting that success with the Taimanov Sicilian is based more on ideas than memorizing concrete variations.

In this 4h 16m course, Robin shows exactly how to tackle all White’s systems and reveals the many opportunities Black has for getting a decisive advantage if White goes wrong.

By learning the key strategic principles given by GM van Kampen, you will be able to meet 1.e4 with a very confident …c5! and push the game into territory you know much better than your opponent does.

Taking The Initiative – IM Andras Toth

IM Andras Toth 1

In this lecture, IM Andras Toth discusses a very important concept in chess: Initiative. The course first breaks down the meaning of initiative and what it looks like in top games. After the intro, the author talks about the various strategic ideas that allow players to seize the initiative and play dynamic chess whenever possible.
